Going from one workflow to another took time and limited how much those physicians and their assistants could accomplish. Integration, by comparison, put everything into a common dictation system, which made it easier to receive and forward information.
“We have taken turnaround times from days to minutes,” said Moore, “and we couldn’t do that without our interface engine.”
Since implementing Corepoint Integration Engine, Moore uncovered additional benefits. The engine provides powerful data that can be used in a variety of ways, some of which Moore and his team are still exploring. “Because we’re using this common dictation system,” said Moore, “and all those messages are flowing through the engine, we are able to capture important information.
